    Feature

    The scope of application for DC capacitors is similarly diverse. Smoothing capacitors are used to reduce the AC component of fluctuating DC voltage (such as in power supplies for industrial application).

    Our film capacitors are able to absorb and release very high currents within short periods, the peak values of currents being substantially greater than the RMS values.

    Surge (pulse) discharge capacitors are also capable of supplying or absorbing extreme short-duration current surges. They are usually operated in discharge applications with non-reversing voltages, and at low repetition frequencies, such as in laser technology.
